This Privacy Policy explains what data Itqan PDF ("the Software"), published by Fahed Hassan Muhammad Aslam Bhutta ("we," "us"), interacts with, and why.
The Short Version
Itqan PDF processes your documents entirely on your own computer. We do not see, collect, upload, or store the content of any file you open, convert, or edit with the Software. The only data that ever leaves your device is described below.
What We Do Collect

We do not collect analytics, usage telemetry, crash reports, or any information about the files you process, unless you explicitly send us that information yourself (for example, by emailing support for help with an issue).
What We Do Not Collect
- The content, filenames, or metadata of any PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or image file you process
- Your location, browsing activity, or device information beyond what's needed for license activation
- Any data while the Software is used offline (which is the majority of its functionality)
Third-Party Processors
Payments, license key generation, and activation are handled by Lemon Squeezy, who act as the merchant of record for your purchase. Their handling of your payment and contact information is governed by their own privacy policy.
Data Retention
Your license key and device activation records are retained by Lemon Squeezy for as long as needed to administer your license. Locally, the Software stores your license status and preferences in a small file on your own computer (~/.itqan_pdf/), which you can delete at any time; doing so does not affect your underlying license, which can be reactivated with your key.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal data associated with your license. Since this data is held by Lemon Squeezy on our behalf, requests can be directed to them directly or to us at the contact below, and we will forward the request.
Children's Privacy
The Software is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
